Ever since I started my blog about the Pros and Cons for TRU, I find myself analyzing our school in greater detail. Unfortunately the last few things have been negative. Maybe I am just too critical?
The first is that I believe our washrooms are rather disgusting... If your not in there before 9:00, you don't want to in there at all.
The other thing,why can we not have quite computer labs. For the most part, I go to the computer lab to finish assignments. If I'm not finishing assignments, I'm probably reading. Personally these take twice as long if I'm distracted. It seems it is quite only at the end of the semester. Could we not designate half the computer labs to have noise restrictions? I'm sure we can all benefit from this.
These are my recent issues. Anyone agree? And what can we do about it?
The library is a great place to go for doing readings or written work. It's usually very quiet. I'm not sure if they have computers to work on though. I feel half the labs would be too many to designate for noise restrictions, but it's a good idea to have at least a couple places where you can work on the computers in silence.
ReplyDeleteYa Brian your one hundred percent right about the library. I should have pointed that out. The only problem is that there are not many computers that you can sit down at. Its not the biggest issue in the world... I was moreless asking if anyone else was bothered at all from the noise. You would think it would be more productive for more students, if more labs were quite ones. Writing quizes or finishing assignments are not fun when people yelling laughing talking about how drunk they were on saturday :) Again probably too critical here.
